Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments using this carrier-free antibody, perform an additional desalting step.
Recommended: Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL (Product #89882).
Target Information
Villin is a cytoskeletal protein associated with the microvillar actin core bundle of gastrointestinal and renal brush borders.
It interacts with actin in a Ca²⁺ and phosphoinositide-regulated manner.
Villin serves as a specific marker for adenocarcinomas of the gastrointestinal tract and pancreas, and is also expressed in some Merkel cell tumors and adenocarcinomas of the lung, prostate, ovary, and kidney.
