Target Information
TEF1 (Transcriptional enhancer factor 1)은 TEA/ATTS 도메인 패밀리의 구성원으로, 다양한 세포에서 발현되는 핵 단백질이며 여러 유전자의 발현 조절에 관여합니다.
TEF-1은 GT-IIC, SphI/II, M-CAT 서열에 결합하며, transforming growth factor-alpha의 프로모터 영역에도 결합합니다.
TEF-1은 여러 PKC 아이소자임에 의해 인산화되며, 인산화 시 DNA 결합 능력이 감소하여 PKC 억제와 관련된 역할을 할 가능성이 있습니다. 또한 TEF-1은 tumor antigen (TAg)과 복합체를 형성하여 종양 발생 과정에도 관여할 수 있습니다. TEF-1의 이합체화는 유전자 전사 조절 기능에 중요할 수 있습니다.
