Product Specific Information
Store vial at -20°C prior to opening. Aliquot contents and freeze at -20°C or below for extended storage. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles. Centrifuge product if not completely clear after standing at room temperature. This product is stable for several weeks at 4°C as an undiluted liquid. Dilute only prior to immediate use.
This affinity purified antibody is directed against human BCL3. Sequence analysis of the immunogen shows 100% identity with human BCL3.
Target Information
B cell Lymphoma 3 (BCL3) is a member of the IκB subfamily of inhibitors, which are part of the NF-κB transcription factor family. The balance of NF-κB family members regulates apoptosis and survival of activated T cells. BCL3 functions include cytoplasmic activation of p50 homodimers, nuclear translocation, and modulation of transcriptional machinery. BCL3 activity often depends on nuclear interacting proteins such as Tip60, Jab1, Bard1, and Pirin.
