Product Specific Information
The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen. The purity is greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Target Information
The heterotetramer with HSD17B8 has NADH-dependent 3-ketoacyl-acyl carrier protein reductase activity, and plays a role in mitochondrial fatty acid biosynthesis. Within the heterotetramer, HSD17B8 binds NADH, while CBR4 binds NADPD. The homotetramer has NADPH-dependent quinone reductase activity. Both the homotetramer and heterotetramer exhibit broad substrate specificity and can reduce compounds such as 9,10-phenanthrenequinone and 1,4-benzoquinone (in vitro).
