Target Information
Surfactant protein D (SP-D)는 폐 상피세포에서 합성 및 분비되는 단백질로, C-type lectin 계열의 Group III에 속합니다.
이 그룹의 단백질들은 다수의 구형(head) 영역이 삼중 나선의 콜라겐 유사 사슬로 연결된 구조를 가지며, SP-A, mannan-binding protein, conglutinin, collectin-43 등이 포함됩니다.
이 단백질들은 다양한 세포에서 발견되는 C1q 수용체에 결합할 수 있으며, SP-D와 SP-A는 폐포 대식세포의 산소 라디칼 생성을 촉진하는 것으로 알려져 있습니다.
