For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7 K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

Mammalian mitochondrial ribosomal proteins are encoded by nuclear genes and are involved in protein synthesis within mitochondria.
Mitochondrial ribosomes (mitoribosomes) consist of a small 28S subunit and a large 39S subunit, with an estimated 75% protein to rRNA ratio—opposite to that of prokaryotic ribosomes.
Unlike prokaryotic ribosomes, mammalian mitoribosomes lack a 5S rRNA.
The MRPS7 gene encodes a 28S subunit protein, believed to play an essential role in organizing the 3′ domain of the 16S rRNA in the vicinity of the P- and A-sites.
Pseudogenes corresponding to this gene are found on chromosomes 8p and 12p.
