Product Specific Information
- Immunohistochemistry (PFA-fixed): Incubate antibody for 30 minutes at room temperature.
- For formalin-fixed tissues, heat tissue sections in 10 mM Tris with 1 mM EDTA (pH 9.0) for 45 minutes at 95°C, followed by cooling at room temperature for 20 minutes.

Spectrin은 액틴 교차결합 및 세포막-세포골격 연결에 관여하는 분자 스캐폴드 단백질로, 세포 형태 유지, 막단백질 배열, 세포소기관 조직화에 중요한 역할을 합니다.
이 단백질은 α-β 이합체가 머리-머리로 연결된 사량체 구조를 이루며, α-spectrin 유전자의 일원입니다.
22개의 spectrin 반복 구조로 구성되어 있으며, 적혈구막의 탄력성과 변형성을 높이는 데 기여합니다.
해당 유전자의 돌연변이는 elliptocytosis type 2, pyropoikilocytosis, spherocytic hemolytic anemia 등 적혈구 관련 유전 질환을 유발할 수 있습니다.
