IRAK4의 과발현은 NF-κB 및 MAPK 경로를 활성화하며, IRAK4는 IRAK1과 상호작용하여 인산화합니다.
IRAK4 결핍 동물은 LPS 자극에 완전히 저항성을 보이며, 바이러스 및 세균 감염에 대한 면역 반응이 저하됩니다.
IRAK/Pelle 계열은 IL-1R/TLR 매개 염증 반응 및 선천 면역에서 중심적 역할을 수행합니다.
