Cbl 단백질은 활성화된 티로신 키나아제를 분해 대상으로 지정하여 신호 전달을 음성 조절하는 유비퀴틴 단백질 리가아제(E3) 계열입니다.
Cbl-c는 Cbl 단백질 중 가장 최근에 클로닝된 멤버로 상피세포에서만 발현되며, 활성화된 EGFR을 유비퀴티네이션하여 분해를 유도합니다.
SH2 및 SH3 도메인을 포함하는 단백질과의 상호작용을 통해 CBL 단백질은 하위 세포 신호 전달을 조절합니다.
