Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to reach a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, an additional desalting step is recommended using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
MAP2K1 (MEK1) kinase is a dual-specificity protein kinase involved in the MAPK cascade, regulating cell growth and differentiation.
It is activated by various growth factors, cytokines, membrane depolarization, and calcium influx.
Activation occurs via phosphorylation at serine residues 218 and 222 by Raf1.
MAP2K1 plays roles in stress response, apoptosis, and cytokine-induced proliferation.
Mutations in MAP2K1 are associated with cardiofaciocutaneous syndrome.
