Target Information
BRD4는 BET 단백질 패밀리에 속하는 핵 인산화 단백질로, 인간에서 보편적으로 발현됩니다. 두 개의 N-말단 bromodomain, 중앙의 ET-domain, 그리고 여러 kinase-like motif를 포함하며, 두 가지 isoform으로 존재합니다. 긴 변이형은 C-말단에 proline 및 glutamine이 풍부한 영역을 가집니다.
BRD4는 성장 자극에 반응하여 발현이 유도되며, RFC 및 SPA-1과 같은 단백질과 상호작용하여 세포 성장 및 세포주기 조절에 관여합니다. 또한 유사분열 중 염색체 동역학 조절에도 중요한 역할을 하며, papillomavirus의 E2 단백질의 세포 내 표적 역할을 수행합니다.
