Product Specific Information

The M5/114.15.2 monoclonal antibody reacts with mouse MHC class II glycoproteins (I-A/I-E). It detects polymorphic determinants on B cells, monocytes, macrophages, dendritic cells, and activated T lymphocytes of specific haplotypes (H-2 b, d, q, p, r, u). It inhibits I-A-restricted T cell responses for certain haplotypes.

Brilliant Violet™ 650 (BV650) emits at 649 nm and is compatible with violet (405 nm) laser-equipped cytometers.
Use Super Bright Complete Staining Buffer (SB-4401-42) or Brilliant Stain Buffer™ (00-4409-75) to minimize non-specific polymer interactions.

Light sensitivity: Protect from light.
Fixation: Samples can be stored up to 3 days at 4°C in the dark using IC Fixation Buffer (00-8222-49) or 1-step Fix/Lyse Solution (00-5333-54).
Note: BV650 is not compatible with methanol-based fixation.

Target Information

MHC class II molecules are transmembrane glycoproteins expressed on antigen-presenting cells (macrophages, dendritic cells, B cells). They bind endocytosed exogenous antigens and present them to T cells.
HLA and MHC antibodies are key tools in Immunopeptidomics, enabling identification and characterization of neoantigens via LC-MS/MS.
