Target Information
ACAP2는 Centaurin family에 속하는 수송 단백질로, ANK repeats, Arf-GAP domain, BAR domain, PH domain을 포함합니다. ACAP2는 ADP ribosylation factor 6 (ARF6)을 위한 GTPase-activating protein (GAP)으로서, PIP2 및 phosphatidic acid에 의해 GAP 활성이 자극되며 ARF1에 대해서는 낮은 활성을 보입니다.
이 단백질은 ARF의 비활성 GDP 결합 상태로의 복귀를 조절하며, ACAP1과 함께 PDGF 유도성 dorsal membrane ruffle 형성을 억제합니다. DNA 손상 시 ATM 또는 ATR에 의해 인산화되며, 폐에서 가장 높은 수준으로 널리 발현됩니다.
