For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments using this carrier-free antibody, perform an additional desalting step (recommended: Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

This gene encodes a type II transmembrane glycoprotein belonging to the M28 peptidase family. The protein functions as a glutamate carboxypeptidase on various substrates, including folate and N-acetyl-L-aspartyl-L-glutamate. It is expressed in multiple tissues such as prostate, nervous system, and kidney.
Mutations may cause impaired intestinal absorption of dietary folates, leading to low blood folate levels and hyperhomocysteinemia.
In the prostate, this protein is up-regulated in cancerous cells and serves as a diagnostic and prognostic marker for prostate cancer.
Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms.
