Product Specific Information
- Store vial at 4°C prior to restoration.
- For extended storage, aliquot contents and freeze at -20°C or below.
- Avoid cycles of freezing and thawing.
- Centrifuge product if not completely clear after standing at room temperature.
- Stable for several weeks at 4°C as an undiluted liquid.
- Dilute only prior to immediate use.
Assay Results:
Immunoelectrophoresis resulted in a single precipitin arc against anti-Peroxidase, anti-Goat Serum, and Biotin conjugated IgG.
No reaction was observed against anti-Pepsin or anti-Goat IgG F(c).
Target Information
Biotin (Vitamin B7) is a water-soluble B-complex vitamin required by all organisms. It can only be synthesized by bacteria, yeasts, molds, algae, and some plant species.
Biotin is essential for incorporating carbon dioxide into organic compounds and has a molecular weight of approximately 244 Da.
