Target Information
NALP 단백질은 세포질 내에서 존재하며, CATERPILLER 단백질 계열의 하위 그룹을 형성합니다. 이들은 세포 증식과 생식에 중요한 역할을 하는 것으로 알려져 있습니다. NALP10은 C-말단에 leucine-rich repeat (LRR) 영역을, N-말단에는 Pyrin domain (PYD)과 NACHT domain을 포함하고 있으며, Apaf-1과 유사한 PYNOD로 처음 발견되었습니다. ASC, caspase-1 및 IL-1β와 결합하여 caspase-1의 자동 처리 및 IL-1β 처리, ASC 응집을 억제함으로써 세포사멸(apoptosis)과 염증 조절에 관여합니다.
