Target Information
GTF2H5는 일반 전사 및 DNA 복구 인자 IIH (TFIIH) 복합체의 구성 요소로, 손상된 DNA의 염기 절제 복구(NER)와 RNA polymerase II에 의한 전사 과정에 관여합니다.
TFIIH는 손상 부위 주변의 DNA를 열어 손상된 올리고뉴클레오티드를 절제하고 새로운 DNA로 대체하도록 돕습니다.
또한 전사 개시 복합체(PIC) 형성 후 프로모터 개방과 탈출에 필수적이며, CAK 복합체에 의한 RNA polymerase II의 C-말단 꼬리(CTD) 인산화는 전사 개시를 조절합니다.
GTF2H5는 TFIIH 복합체의 안정성과 세포 내 정상 수준 유지에 필요합니다.
