B7-H3 / CD276 Polyclonal Antibody detects endogenous levels of B7-H3 / CD276 protein.
Target Information
CD276, also known as B7-H3, is a member of the B7 family of co-stimulatory molecules.
It is a type I transmembrane protein that:
- Induces proliferation of CD4+ and CD8+ T cells
- Enhances generation of cytotoxic T cells
- Stimulates production of interferon gamma
Expression can be induced on dendritic cells and monocytes by inflammatory cytokines and is widely expressed in peripheral tissues such as heart, kidney, testis, and colon.
In humans, CD276 exists as two isoforms resulting from gene duplication and differential splicing.
It has therapeutic potential in regulating cell-mediated immune responses to cancer, particularly with anti-angiogenic therapy.
