Product Specific Information
This antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen. The purity is greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Target Information
SIN3B acts as a transcriptional repressor. It interacts with MXI1 to repress MYC-responsive genes and antagonize MYC oncogenic activities. It also interacts with MAD–MAX heterodimers by binding to MAD, thereby repressing transcription by tethering SIN3B to DNA. Additionally, SIN3B forms a complex with FOXK1 to repress transcription.
