For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

TGF beta-1 (TGFB1, Transforming Growth Factor Beta 1) is a polypeptide member of the TGF-beta superfamily of cytokines, found ubiquitously in tissues.
It is stored in the extracellular matrix as a latent complex with its pro-domain, requiring activation through αV integrin binding to an RGD sequence.
Latent forms consist of TGFB1, a latency-associated peptide (LAP), and a latent TGFB1-binding protein (LTBP).
TGF beta-1 regulates proliferation, differentiation, adhesion, and migration in many cell types.
Mutations in the TGFB1 gene are associated with Camurati-Engelmann disease and cystic fibrosis, and its expression is often upregulated in tumor cells.
