Target Information
DEK is a protein containing one SAP domain that binds to cruciform and superhelical DNA, inducing positive supercoils into closed circular DNA. It also plays a role in splice site selection during mRNA processing. Chromosomal aberrations, increased expression, and antibodies against DEK are associated with various diseases.
