Target Information
BDNF (Brain-Derived Neurotrophic Factor)는 신경영양인자(neurotrophin) 계열 단백질로, pre-proBDNF 형태로 합성된 후 proBDNF를 거쳐 성숙형 단백질로 전환됩니다. proBDNF 또한 생물학적으로 활성화되어 있으며, 성숙형과 함께 시냅스 소포에서 분비됩니다. BDNF는 중추신경계에 널리 발현되어 있으며, TrkB 수용체를 통한 신호 전달로 신경세포의 생존과 분화를 촉진합니다. 또한 p75-NTR 수용체에도 결합하며, 기억 형성과 시냅스 조절에 중요한 역할을 합니다. BDNF 발현은 알츠하이머병 및 헌팅턴병 환자에서 감소하며, 스트레스 반응과 기분 장애의 생물학적 조절에도 관여합니다.
