Target Information
A-kinase anchor proteins (AKAPs) bind to the regulatory subunit of protein kinase A (PKA), anchoring the holoenzyme to discrete cellular locations. AKAP14 anchors PKA in ciliary axonemes and may regulate ciliary beat frequency. Alternate splice variants encoding different isoforms have been identified.
