Target Information
CHUK (IKK alpha) is a serine/threonine kinase involved in signal transduction and cellular communication. It forms part of the cytokine-activated protein complex that regulates the NF-kappa B pathway. Together with IKK beta and NEMO (IKK gamma), it phosphorylates IkB proteins, leading to their ubiquitin-mediated degradation. IKK alpha plays a crucial role in inflammation and cell survival processes.
