Product Specific Information
Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems by cloning specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits. Individual clones are screened to select optimal candidates for production.

Target Information
SHP-1 (PTPN6) is a non-receptor protein tyrosine phosphatase primarily expressed in hematopoietic cells. It contains two SH2 domains, a catalytic domain, and a regulatory domain. SHP-1 downregulates tyrosine kinase-regulated pathways by dephosphorylating target proteins.
In hematopoietic cells, SHP-1 binds to phosphorylated EpoR to negatively regulate growth. Overexpression in epithelial cells leads to dephosphorylation of the Ros receptor tyrosine kinase, reducing Ros-dependent proliferation and transformation. In myeloid cells, SHP-1 associates with IL-3R beta chain to downregulate IL-3-induced phosphorylation and proliferation.
