These antibodies recognize multiple epitope sites on the target, offering higher detection sensitivity for low-abundance targets. Each lot is produced with a known mixture of light and heavy chains, ensuring reproducibility and eliminating biological variability typically associated with polyclonal antibody production.

Target Information
SOX9 plays a role in sex determination and differentiation of Sertoli cells, is involved in chondrogenesis, and acts as a transcription factor regulating genes essential for cartilage formation.
Translocation of this gene can cause campomelic dysplasia. SOX9 is crucial in the formation of testes from fetal gonads and in the neuron-glia switch during spinal cord development.
It supports prostate epithelial growth and maintenance, and in cancer, these functions can contribute to tumor progression.
SOX9 also regulates neural crest precursor formation and melanin production. Expression is observed in adult testis, adult heart, and fetal brain.
