Target Information
Janus kinase 1 (JAK1) is a protein tyrosine kinase involved in interferon-α/β and -γ signal transduction pathways. It mediates the recruitment of Stat transcription factors to cytokine receptor-associated JAK1, leading to phosphorylation, dimerization, and transcriptional regulation of target genes. Tyrosine phosphorylation at positions 1022 and 1023 activates catalytic events.
