For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

CD31 (PECAM-1, platelet endothelial cell adhesion molecule-1) functions as an inhibitory coreceptor regulating T and B cell signaling through ITIM motifs that, upon phosphorylation, serve as docking sites for protein-tyrosine phosphatases.
It is ubiquitously expressed in the vascular compartment, primarily at cell junctions. The N-terminal Ig-like domain mediates homophilic binding, critical for cell-cell interactions.
CD31 plays diverse roles in integrin-mediated adhesion, transendothelial migration, angiogenesis, apoptosis, and immune regulation, including modulation of macrophage phagocytosis, IgE-mediated anaphylaxis, and thrombosis.
It is a key regulatory molecule in the vascular system.
