Target Information
The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the kinesin-like protein family. These proteins are microtubule-dependent molecular motors involved in organelle transport and chromosome movement during cell division. Golgin A3 plays an important role in anaphase chromosome segregation and may coordinate sister centromere separation.
