Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of about 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
PIM2 is a proto-oncogene encoding a serine/threonine kinase that phosphorylates BAD, partially inhibiting its apoptotic function. PIM proteins (PIM-1, PIM-2, PIM-3) are oncogene-encoded kinases with similar oncogenic roles.
PIM-2 is highly expressed in hematopoietic tissues, spleen, thymus, peripheral blood leukocytes, testis, small intestine, and colon. Its expression is negatively regulated by growth factor depletion, and elevated levels have been observed in certain cancers.
