Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, it is recommended to perform an additional desalting step (e.g., using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
PIM2 is a proto-oncogene encoding a serine/threonine kinase that phosphorylates BAD, partially inhibiting its apoptotic function.
PIM proteins (PIM-1, PIM-2, and PIM-3) share similar oncogenic functions and are highly homologous.
PIM2 is abundantly expressed in hematopoietic tissues such as spleen, thymus, and peripheral blood leukocytes, as well as in testis, small intestine, and colon.
Its expression is negatively regulated by growth factor depletion, and elevated levels have been observed in certain cancers.
