Recombinant rabbit Superclonal™ antibodies are unique offerings from Thermo Fisher Scientific. They comprise multiple different recombinant monoclonal antibodies, providing the sensitivity of polyclonal antibodies and the specificity of monoclonal antibodies, with the consistency of recombinant production.

Functionally similar to polyclonal antibodies—recognizing multiple epitope sites and offering higher detection sensitivity for low-abundance targets—these antibodies feature a defined mixture of light and heavy chains, ensuring reproducibility across lots and eliminating biological variability.

Target Information

The CXCL5 protein is an inflammatory chemokine in the CXC chemokine family. It is produced concurrently with interleukin-8 (IL8) in response to stimulation by interleukin-1 (IL1) or tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNFA). CXCL5 functions as a potent chemotaxin involved in neutrophil activation.
