Product Specific Information
The eBio5E10 monoclonal antibody reacts with human CD90, also known as Thy-1 (thymus cell antigen-1). CD90 is a 25–35 kDa receptor expressed on thymocytes, CD34+ prothymocytes, hematopoietic stem cells, neurons, fetal liver cells, cord blood cells, and bone marrow cells. It plays a role in adhesion and signal transduction by T cells.
Applications Reported: Flow cytometric analysis.
Applications Tested: Pre-titrated and tested on HEL cell line. Recommended usage is 5 µL (0.25 µg) per test (100 µL final volume, 10⁵–10⁸ cells/test).
Super Bright 436 is excited by the violet laser (405 nm) and emits at 436 nm. Use a 450/50 bandpass filter or equivalent. Ensure instrument compatibility.
When using multiple Super Bright dye-conjugated antibodies, use Super Bright Complete Staining Buffer (Product # SB-4401) to minimize non-specific polymer interactions.

Target Information
CD90 (Thy-1) antigen is a GPI-linked glycoprotein of the Immunoglobulin superfamily. It is expressed in murine T cells, thymocytes, neural cells, Kupffer’s cells, and fibroblasts. CD90 is involved in cell-cell or cell-ligand interactions, synaptogenesis, and neuronal processes. It serves as a marker for stem cells and mature neurons. Dysfunction of CD90 is associated with nasopharyngeal carcinoma and thymoma.
