Product Specific Information
Store vial at -20°C prior to opening. Aliquot contents and freeze at -20°C or below for extended storage. Avoid cycles of freezing and thawing. Centrifuge product if not completely clear after standing at room temperature.
This product is stable for several weeks at 4°C as an undiluted liquid. Dilute only prior to immediate use.
This antibody is specific for human ABCB5 protein. A BLAST analysis suggests partial cross-reactivity with ABCB5 from monkey (85% homology), rat (68% homology), and mouse (62% homology). Cross-reactivity with ABCB5 from other sources has not been determined.
Target Information
ABCB5 belongs to the ATP-binding cassette (ABC) transporter superfamily of integral membrane proteins. These proteins participate in ATP-dependent transmembrane transport of structurally diverse molecules ranging from small ions, sugars, and peptides to more complex organic molecules.
