Product Specific Information

The 61D3 monoclonal antibody reacts with human CD14, a 53–55 kDa GPI-linked glycoprotein expressed on monocytes, macrophages, and dendritic cells. CD14 binds LPS-LBP complexes with high affinity.

Applications Reported: Flow cytometric analysis
Applications Tested: Pre-titrated for flow cytometry on normal human peripheral blood cells.
Recommended usage: 5 µL (0.125 µg) per test (100 µL final volume, 10⁵–10⁸ cells/test).

Fluorochrome Information:
PerCP-eFluor® 710 emits at 710 nm, excited by blue laser (488 nm).
Recommended filter: 710/50 bandpass (alternative: 695/40).
Ensure instrument compatibility.

Light Sensitivity:
Tandem dye sensitive to photo-induced oxidation. Protect from light.

Fixation:
Samples can be stored in IC Fixation Buffer (Product #00-8222) or 1-step Fix/Lyse Solution (Product #00-5333) for up to 3 days at 4°C in the dark.

Target Information

CD14 is a 55 kDa GPI-anchored glycoprotein expressed on monocytes, macrophages, and neutrophils. It functions as a lipopolysaccharide (LPS) receptor and exists in membrane-bound and soluble forms. CD14 interacts with LBP to bind LPS and plays roles in immune response, inflammation, and apoptosis.
Associated diseases include Mycobacterium chelonae infection and croup.
