They consist of multiple different recombinant monoclonal antibodies, combining the sensitivity of polyclonal antibodies with the specificity of monoclonal antibodies, and providing consistent performance across lots.
While they function similarly to polyclonal antibodies—recognizing multiple epitopes and offering high sensitivity—they are produced from a defined mixture of light and heavy chains, eliminating biological variability.
Formerly called “Recombinant polyclonal antibody,” this product is now rebranded as “Recombinant Superclonal™ antibody.” The physical product and performance remain unchanged.

Target Information

TWIST1 acts as a transcriptional regulator. It inhibits myogenesis by sequestering E proteins, blocking trans-activation by MEF2, and preventing DNA-binding by MYOD1 through physical interaction.
TWIST1 also represses proinflammatory cytokines such as TNFA and IL1B, and regulates cranial suture patterning and fusion depending on dimer composition.
Mutations in TWIST1 are implicated in Saethre-Chotzen syndrome, characterized by coronal synostosis, brachycephaly, low front hairline, facial asymmetry, hypertelorism, broad halluces, and clinodactyly.
