Target Information
YAP (Yes-Associated Protein)은 WW 도메인 단백질 패밀리의 구성원으로, 전사 공동활성화자이자 온코진입니다. 이 유전자는 편평세포암 세포에서 전사적으로 활성화되며, 공동활성화자(coactivator) 및 공동억제자(corepressor)로 작용할 수 있습니다. YAP은 Hippo 신호 경로의 핵심 하위 조절 타겟으로, 세포 증식 억제와 세포자멸사 촉진을 통해 장기 크기 조절 및 종양 억제에 중요한 역할을 합니다. 또한 조직 장력, 3D 조직 형태, 세포 증식, 세포 사멸, 세포 이동에도 관여합니다. IRF5 유전자의 돌연변이는 coloboma를 유발할 수 있습니다.
