For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments using this carrier-free antibody, an additional desalting step is recommended (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
The protein encoded by this gene acts as a receptor for activated protein C, a serine protease involved in the blood coagulation pathway.
It is an N-glycosylated type I membrane protein that enhances the activation of protein C.
Mutations in this gene are associated with venous thromboembolism, myocardial infarction, and late fetal loss during pregnancy.
