Target Information
Amphiregulin (AR)은 EGF 수용체(EGFR)에 EGF보다 낮은 친화도로 결합합니다. 성숙한 분비형 AR은 84개의 아미노산으로 구성된 당화된 폴리펩타이드 성장 조절 인자로, 252 아미노산의 막단백질 전구체로부터 단백질 분해 과정을 통해 생성됩니다.
EGFR의 세포외 도메인에 결합할 수 있는 7가지 리간드(EGF, TGFα, AR, HB-EGF, cripto-1, epiregulin, betacellulin)는 모두 6개의 시스테인 잔기로 형성된 EGF 유사 도메인을 가지고 있습니다.
AR 단백질은 결장, 위, 췌장, 유방, 태반의 상피조직에서 면역조직화학적으로 확인되었으며, 유방암, 결장암, 위암, 췌장암 등에서 과발현되는 것으로 보고되었습니다.
