Target Information
This gene encodes a member of the EPS8 family. The protein contains one PH domain and one SH3 domain and functions as part of the EGFR signaling pathway. Its precise role remains unclear, but homologous proteins are known to mediate signal transduction from Ras to Rac and participate in actin remodeling induced by growth factors. Alternate splice variants have been observed but not fully characterized.
