Target Information
EEF2는 번역 연장 과정에서 GTP 의존적 리보솜 전이 단계를 촉매합니다. 이 과정에서 리보솜은 pre-translocational (PRE) 상태에서 post-translocational (POST) 상태로 전환되며, A-site에 결합된 펩틸-tRNA와 P-site의 탈아실화된 tRNA가 각각 P 및 E 위치로 이동합니다. 이 효소는 두 tRNA 분자, mRNA 및 리보솜의 구조적 변화를 조정하여 단백질 합성의 정확한 진행을 돕습니다.
