Target Information
PDPK1 (3-Phosphoinositide Dependent Protein Kinase 1)은 AGC 키나아제들을 인산화하며, conventional PKC 및 PKC zeta를 활성화시킵니다. 또한, phosphatidylinositol-3,4,5-trisphosphate 존재 하에서 Protein Kinase B (PKB)의 threonine 308을 인산화합니다. 활성화된 Akt는 Glycogen Synthase Kinase 3 (GSK3)를 불활성화시켜 glycogen synthase를 활성화하고 glycogen 합성을 촉진합니다. PDPK1은 인슐린 유도 glycogen 합성과 PKC 활성화에 중요한 역할을 하므로, 대사 관련 약물 연구의 잠재적 타깃으로 간주됩니다.
