Target Information
RASSF8는 Ras-association domain family (RASSF)에 속하는 종양 억제 단백질을 암호화하는 유전자입니다. 이 유전자는 상피세포의 부착연접 기능 유지에 필수적이며, 상피세포 이동에 관여합니다. 폐 종양 억제 유전자 후보로 알려져 있으며, 염색체 전좌 t(12;22)(p11.2;q13.3)에 의해 FBLN1 유전자와 융합되어 복합형 합지증(synpolydactyly)과 관련이 있습니다. 여러 가지 대체 스플라이싱 전사 변이체가 존재합니다.
