Product Specific Information
- In direct ELISAs, no cross-reactivity with recombinant mouse IL-28 alpha is observed.
- Reconstitute in sterile PBS to a final concentration of 0.5 mg/mL.
Target Information
The protein encoded by this gene belongs to the class II cytokine receptor family. It forms a receptor complex with interleukin 10 receptor beta (IL10RB). This complex interacts with cytokines IL28A, IL28B, and IL29, which are induced by viral infection. Overexpression enhances responses to IL28A and IL29 but decreases response to IL28B. Three alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms have been reported.
