Target Information
TET1은 메틸시토신(5mC)에 특이적으로 결합하는 dioxygenase로, 5mC를 5-하이드록시메틸시토신(hmC)으로 전환시킵니다. hmC는 염색질 구조 조절, 특정 인자 결합 또는 시토신 탈메틸화 과정의 중간체로 작용할 가능성이 있습니다. ES 세포 및 뇌(특히 Purkinje 뉴런)에서 풍부하며, 심장·폐·뇌의 태아 발달에 관여할 수 있습니다.
