Target Information
TSPAN7은 transmembrane 4 superfamily, 즉 tetraspanin family에 속하는 단백질입니다. 대부분의 구성원은 네 개의 소수성 도메인을 가진 세포 표면 단백질로, 세포 발달, 활성화, 성장 및 이동 조절에 관여하는 신호전달을 매개합니다. TSPAN7은 세포 표면 당단백질로서 신경돌기 성장 조절에 관여할 수 있으며, integrin과 복합체를 형성하는 것으로 알려져 있습니다. 또한 이 유전자는 X-연관 지적 장애 및 Huntington 병, fragile X 증후군, 근긴장성 이영양증과 같은 신경정신 질환과 관련이 있습니다.
