Target Information
ENT1 (Equilibrative Nucleoside Transporter 1) 유전자는 세포막과 미토콘드리아막에 위치하는 막관통 당단백질을 암호화합니다. 이 단백질은 주변 환경으로부터 뉴클레오사이드를 세포 내로 운반하며, nitrobenzylthioinosine에 의해 억제될 수 있습니다. 뉴클레오사이드 운반체는 de novo 합성 경로가 없는 세포에서 뉴클레오타이드 합성에 필수적이며, 항암 및 항바이러스 화학요법에 사용되는 세포독성 뉴클레오사이드의 흡수에도 필요합니다. 여러 가지 대체 스플라이싱 변형체가 보고되어 있지만 동일한 단백질을 암호화합니다.
