For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.

Target Information

The second messengers cAMP and cGMP are key regulatory molecules involved in diverse signal transduction pathways. Their levels are controlled by synthesis via nucleotide cyclases and hydrolysis by cyclic nucleotide phosphodiesterases (PDEs).
PDE6 acts as the effector enzyme in the G protein-mediated visual signal transduction cascade. It consists of multiple subunits, including rod and cone-specific catalytic subunits (α’, α, β), an inhibitory γ subunit, and a δ subunit of unknown function.
The catalytic core comprises α’/α’ homodimers in cones and α/β heterodimers in rods. Post-translational modifications such as methylation, myristoylation, and prenylation at the C-terminus are essential for proper complex assembly and membrane association.
