Target Information
The GRB7 gene encodes a growth factor receptor-binding protein that interacts with EGFR and ephrin receptors. It plays a role in integrin signaling and cell migration through binding with focal adhesion kinase (FAK). This gene belongs to a small family of adapter proteins interacting with receptor tyrosine kinases and signaling molecules. Multiple transcript variants exist due to alternative splicing, with two full-length isoforms identified.
