KLRG1 (Killer cell lectin-like receptor G1, MAFA, 2F1-Ag)는 lectin-like type 2 transmembrane receptor family의 호모다이머 단백질로, 세포질 도메인 내에 면역수용체 티로신 기반 억제 모티프(ITIMs)를 포함합니다. ITIMs는 SHP-1과 같은 단백질 인산화효소의 SH2 도메인과 상호작용합니다.
KLRG1은 NK 세포 및 일부 T 세포에서 발현되는 억제성 수용체로, 종양세포 및 바이러스 감염 세포의 용해에 관여하며, 체액성 및 세포매개 면역 반응을 조절합니다.
